LIBER STATEMENT: EUROPE MUST TAKE URGENT COPYRIGHT LAW ACTION TO SUPPORT DISTANCE LEARNING & RESEARCH DURING THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC

Statement by the Association of European Research Libraries (LIBER) on the interventions that need to be made in order to constructively promote distance education and research in Member States.
This statement calls for the support of higher education institutions and libraries in order to be able to deliver the work they owe to their communities and society.

That is why the coordinated action of imposing special, short-term regulations of the current legislation is required, which now prohibits key actions.

The central position of HEAL-Link inside the higher education ecosystem, can contribute to the integration of these positions.
