Danger of cutting access to the electronic journals that are provided through Hellenic Academic Libraries Link (HEAL-Link)

We inform you that the Ministry of Education has financed access of Hellenic Academic Libraries Link (HEAL-Link) to the electronic journals of publishers with whom there are conventions but, because of bureaucratic processes, the fulfillment of the economic obligations of HEAL-Link to the publishers has been considerably delayed.

The publishers have already informed us that the period of grace, that they granted for the regulation of the economic suspenses, expires in the end of February 2006. They also warned, that afterwards, if this matter is not regulated, electronic access to the journals will be cut.
