LeapSpace (formerly ScienceDirect AI)

Language: EN

Online webinar on the LeapSpace service (formerly ScienceDirect AI), available to HEAL-Link members across all Greek universities and research centres. LeapSpace is an AI-powered research workspace that helps researchers explore the literature and identify relevant authors and funding opportunities, powered by data from Scopus and ScienceDirect as well as third-party full-text articles. The session will cover the core features of the platform and introduce two new tools: File Upload (allowing researchers to upload up to five of their own documents and search what the broader peer-reviewed literature says in relation to their work, drawing on more than 100 million trusted sources) and Claim Radar (identifying specific claims within a manuscript and matching them against the scientific record, showing where evidence supports, contradicts or is contested — so researchers can strengthen their work before submission). After the session, attendees will receive the training materials and a certificate of participation. Privacy note: uploaded files are only available to the user who uploaded them, are not shared with other users, and are not used to train models.
